Annabel Giles

Our former Patron Annabel Giles tragically passed away from a brain tumour on 20th November 2003, at the age of 64.

Annabel Giles was a tv presenter/radio broadcaster, actor and writer. She made her name as the face of Max Factor before breaking through in her first television role for ITV’s Razzmatazz.

Amongst other things, she later  wrote three novels; starred in other TV shows such as ‘Going Live! and ITV’s Night Network; featured regularly as a newspaper reviewer for UK Living and The Wright Stuff; and was a guest panellist on game shows, ranging from Shooting Stars to Have I Got News For You. 

Annabel openly admitted to living with ADHD and struggled with anxiety and bouts of depression throughout her adult life. She was a single mum to two children and lived in East Sussex where she was a fully qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist with her own private practice.
