No Panic Terms and conditions

Basic Information

Please take the time to thoroughly read these terms and conditions. They govern our relationship with you in connection to our website, any purchases made from it or over the phone, and applications to join No Panic, whether made online, over the phone, or by mail. They also go hand in hand with our privacy policy.

All of our services, including email, Support Services, and helpline services, are subject to our Terms and Conditions.

Membership

In the event that a member’s behaviour is detrimental to the interests of other members and/or No Panic’s UK staff/volunteers, No Panic has the right to terminate that person’s membership.

Examples include harassing, unlawful, threatening, or abusive behaviour, obscene, or defamatory spoken or written statements. Any user who has their membership or access to services cancelled is not permitted to reapply to join or access services for at least two years after the revocation.

Refunds won’t be given in these situations.

No Panic is unable to guarantee ongoing membership benefits or services offered by outside parties. While all membership benefits are guaranteed to be in effect at the time of purchase, they are also subject to annual review and are always subject to cancellation.

Delivery

Typically, orders are shipped out the same day they are received (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Orders placed outside of these hours will typically be shipped the following business day.(With the exception of bank holidays)  Orders are delivered within the United Kingdom via second-class mail.

The mode of delivery and anticipated timing will be confirmed for deliveries outside of the UK.

You may cancel the order and we will refund payment if we don’t deliver the products within 30 days of receiving your order or if we fail to notify you of a delay caused by an item being out of stock. The consumer has the right to cancel and receive a refund if the products are not delivered within 30 days.

Claims for things that weren’t received, were wrong, or were damaged

Please note that all goods aim to be shipped within 48 hours of an order, except bank holidays. Claims for non-receipt of goods or for goods that have been damaged in transportation (such as No Panic magazines, shop items, etc.) should be filed within 30 days of the delivery of these goods. We are unable to file claims until 14 working days have passed following the non-receipt of the items according to Royal Mail rules.

If we delivered you something you didn’t order, please let us know as soon as you can and send it back to us within 14 days in a saleable state. In exchange, we will make sure you are not billed for the goods and will reimburse the postage charges. Please let us know if you want the erroneous item replaced with the one you ordered.

As soon as you receive the items, you should check them for any damage or faults. please contact us within 30 days of receiving the goods, if you discover a flaw or damage and send the items back to us right away. If the products are proven to be faulty or damaged, we will replace them or reimburse you for your purchase price, including shipping expenses.

Refunds And Returns

Items (books, CDs)

You have 14 days from the date of receipt of your order to notify No Panic in writing that you would like to return the product if you are dissatisfied with it when you receive it.

You then have an additional 14 days to return the item for a refund or exchange it for another item of comparable value.

Your things will be sent back without a refund if they are not returned in a saleable condition. You must cover the expense of returning the items.

Digital downloads, such as digitally delivered membership packs

If a digital factsheet or resource you downloaded from No Panic is broken, please email us at info@nopanc.org.uk, and the download’s content will be replaced.

Membership Refunds

As membership and therapy are two distinct services, a membership refund will not be provided based on the supply of support services.

Hard copy membership packets received

Please get in touch with us right away if you have any complaints about the physical copy version of the No Panic membership that you received. This will allow us to address any problems you may have had.

If you decide to cancel your membership, you must do so in writing within 14 days of signing up and return the physical copy membership pack you received within an additional 14 days. You are responsible for the cost of returning the hard copy membership packs and refunds are only given if they are returned in sellable condition.

If you cancel your order before it is processed we will refund the amount less 15% Administration fee

Membership runs for 12 months from the date of joining or renewing.

Any Membership cancellations requested after the 14 day deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

Applicable refunds will be credited back through PayPal if the original payment was made via PayPal or bank transfer if payment was made by cheque or bank card.

Members shall cease to be eligible for applying for support services and member discounts from the date the membership is terminated.

Support services/Volunteer training fee

We are unable to issue a refund if you have been allocated a mentor/email mentor or if you have been offered a place on a support group or training group.

If you have not been allocated and you notify us before you are allocated that you don’t want the support service we will refund your fee less a 15% administration cost

If you have a problem with your mentor please call the office and we can re allocate you, fees are transferable so you can change to a different service and pay the difference.

We are happy to postpone your support service so you can use it at a later date.
